I needed a volcano that could be printed in five slices to replace cardboard pieces to the kids, "Dinosaur Escape Game". This model served as the basis for my eventual model.
I stretched the model taller, used Meshmixer to color lava, vegetation, rock and chard rock. Sliced off the bottom 10~15% to eliminate overhang, sliced into five pieces, and added holes for magnets. Each piece needs to be < 27mm tall to fit nicely in the original game box.
Printer: Bambu Lab (BL) X1C with AMS
Filament: PLA in Grey, Green, Red, Black loaded in that order in AMS
Magnets: Six 8x#mm, eight 6x3mm, four 5x3mm. I super glued the magnets into the pieces.
I hid the pegs before printing as I was using magnets, but the 3mf includes the pegs.
I printed in BL's Standard mode (.20mm) with a .4mm nozzle. It was a 16+ hour print, but can be shortened with BL's Sport mode.
The author remixed this model.
