I ran out of cardboard cryobox dividers, so I’ve made my own. Printing in vase mode saves time considerably. I printed it from PLA and although it is not super resistant to low temperatures, it works and haven’t cracked yet.

I printed them with a 0.4 mm nozzle but the extrusion width is set to 0.8 mm. The lines connect in the corners, so the whole print is solid.

You can download a .3mf project file with my settings - printing time is ~2,5 h. You can definately go faster :) There's also a dxf file, so you can change the dimensions and extend the pattern for smaller/larger tubes. Just repeat the outermost row and connect it with the rest, so it is one continuous path. I'll add more version when needed.

The PLA used is 61 grams, so it is A LOT cheaper than the original cardboard thing.

Edit: A friend asked me for a 8x8 version and a box to complete a set :)
