This pool pole holder is meant to help you organize pool pole based accessories vertically on a deck pole. It has spaced out holders for 3 poles and fits tightly to a deck pole.
Note Before Printing:
- Please measure your deck post and pole accessories' diameter before printing. Leave a comment if your measurements are different to the two below, and give me about a week to add a model to fitting your needs. These are the two current models is made for:
- Deck pool with a width of 3.5" and accessory pole diameter of 1.25", and
- Deck pool with a width of 3.5" and accessory pole diameter of 1.00".
Printing:
- The only test I've done was with PETG and 8 walls. This generated a solid model. PETG is flexible enough that even with a solid model, the pool accessory poles snap really well. If you use a more rigid material such as ASA, you may have to use less walls (maybe 4) to allow flexibility (please let me know your results).
- No supports are needed if printed in the original STL configuration. PETG with PEI plate didn't necessitate brims either.
Mounting:
- I mounted mine by flipping the print head-to-toes, but this is your preference. Structurally, I think the way I mounted it makes a bit more sense. This also allows a hard stop for the accessories.
- I used all 8 screws (8 holes) and used the shortest wood screw I had (1"). You might get away with just 4 screws (one on each side and two on the front).
