My original DJI Mic broke so I found a replacement here and then made it even better.

You know how the DJI reciever is never aligned properly when mounted on GoPro with media mod? it always bothered me.. a lot! Well, now it will be :)

Extended the shoe adapter a little bit to the back and cut the exess in front and the reciever is now flush with the GoPro media mod quite nicely and still fits to the DJI charging case.

It fits both side and top shoe, but it was designed for the side mount with tolerances as on the top is it a bit loose. (no idea why they are different) It might need a little modification (an extra .2 thickness should do) to hold it in top shoe if you prefer.

Other than that the tolerances are decently tight as you don't want the reciever to fell off the shoe mount or the whole shoe slide off. To put it on, I suggest first mount your reciever on the adapter and then slide it to the media mod. It will go in half way first, then you need to pull it up a little bit as you push all the way in. This way, it will be solid fit and it will not slide out unintended.

Print with whatever material you want with non-tree support.

I printer in PLA with 100% infill, normal support and .2 resolution.

Version 2 uploaded.

Improvements:

v1 was only flush if mounted facing back screen and if you mounted in facing front it was about 5mm off. So v2 now fixes this and you can mount facing any direction it will be flush with the media mod both ways.

v2 also fits top shoe mount on media mod and it is reasonably fixed in there (will not slide off on it's own)… as a little downside of this you will have to shave a little bit of the bottom with a pocket knife to fit it to the side mount confortably as it is very tight right off the printer, but with a few shavings/a little bit of sanding will fit prefectly to the side mount (but might be too lose for the top afterwards).

This time I printed it in PLA, 100% infill and 0.08 resolution and normal non-tree support.
