Description

PDF

I fully redesigned the model originally created by Ricor https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4052094

Features

  • Can be printed vertically, to ensure higher strength
  • Screw holes are "water droplet shaped" to ensure great 3D printing
  • Several can be stacked to increase  stick count
  • Designed for standard senior hockey stick size (22mm gap between each "stick separator")
  • Can be screwed to the wall or just use double sided tape

Versions

V0 : Originally trying to extrude some text on the top bevel, that version is only recommended if you plan to write something on the bevel (or use some labeling machine).

V1 : Removed the unnecessary bevel (now 32mm tall).

V2 : Smaller, it saves printing time and filament (now 20mm tall).

ANY VERSION

  1. I recommend using larger nozzle, like 0.6 mm or even higher, for greater strength
  2. Designed to put multiple of them next to each other to increase stick quantity

This design can't be used comercially, thank you.

This design can be used, shared (as is) and modified, but please quote this original page if you do (and posting a remix with your design would be awesome).

Feel free to ask for anything,

Greetings from France !

Print Settings

Printer:

Prusa Mini+

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.4

Infill:

20%

Filament:

Generic PLA

Black

Notes:

I used generic black PLA, with no support, on custom Prusa Mini+.

Print Speed of 60-80 mm/s, using 0.5 mm nozzle and 0.4 mm layer height.

(4 perimeters, 3 top/bottom solid layers, 20% infill, 0.5 mm extrusion width)

Printing time is about 1 hour with these parameters.

Can be printed with 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.3 mm layer height, no problem, but you might need to increase perimeters.

How I Designed This

Based on the original Ricor thing, I fully redesigned the rack, on Fusion 360, using my own hockey stick dimensions.
