Original Prusa Enclosure Folding Door

Features

• Easy to print and install
  • Only 1 plate to print (5 small parts)

What you need

• Printed parts
  • folding_door_hinge (2x)
    • M3x6 bolts and nuts (8x)
      • Reuse the existing hardware
  • folding_door_hinge_center (1x)
    • M3x12 bolts (4x)
      • Reuse the existing hardware
  • folding_door_magnet (2x)
    • M3x6 bolts and nuts (4x)
      • Reuse the existing hardware
    • 10x3mm round magnets (2x) - Optional
      • This door does not require magnets, but if you don't have magnets and want it to close more tightly, you can use this add-on
        • Door latch add-on to folding door
• Existing enclosure door hinges (2x)
  • M3 washers (4x)
    • Recommended

Print Instruction

• Use the default Prusa Slicer 0.20 Quality Print Settings
  • Nozzle Diameter : 0.40mm
  • Filament : PETG or PLA
  • Supports :  Not required 
  • Brim : Not required
  • folding_door_hinge(s)
    • On build plate only (recommended)
    • Infill : Gyroid 20~25%
  • folding_door_magnet
    • Infill : Gyroid 10~15%

Assembly

• Screw the folding_door_hinge (top and bottom) to the original door magnets
  • Mind the correct orientation of the hinges
• Screw the folding_door_hinge_center to the original door handles
• Remove the enclosure hinges on one side 
  • Replace them by the folding_door_magnet
• Add washers (4x) where the panel is fixed to the enclosure hinges
  • Recommended to reduce the stress on the panel
