Side Mount IDC 10 pin Male Box Header Frame 2x5 pin Connector

I am converting my desktop synthetizers and in a local electronics store there is a shortage of ICD 10 box headers. They are crutial for me because they prevent me from reverting polarity when plugging Eurorack modules and ruining my synths. This is the reason I decided to make my own.

Frame is designed to convert a regular 2-row pin header into an IDC box header to make sure the orientation tab of the power cord is correct.

This version has side mount brackets and holes for installation not in PCB, but e.g. 3D printed mounting panels.

Assembly instructions

• Cut 5 cols of 2-pin row header.
• Insert it into header and align pins.
• Stick these two components together with a superglue.

Print from PETG or ABS due their higher temperature resistance.
