The Harder & Steenbeck Infinity CR Plus airbrush is one of the best on the market. The build quality is outstanding and the performance unbeatable. It does, however, have one major flaw - the trigger response. When pulling back on the trigger there is a slack region where nothing happens before paint comes out. This can make it difficult to get a good clean start and can be quite difficult to predict.

On examination of the mechanism I found that the trigger pushes against a hexagonal bar that is coupled to the needle, and on the stock airbrush there is a fairly large gap before it engages.

I figured that if this gap could be reduced then the trigger would be more responsive so I designed a collar in Fusion360 and printed it on my Bambu Lab X1C printer. It took a lot of iterations to get it just right but the model I have uploaded fits perfectly on my airbrush and the response is now precise and predictable.

I printed it at 0.2 layer height and 0.45 wall thickness with eSun PLA+ filament.

As far as I can tell it has no adverse effect on the airbrush and is fully reversible by simply removing it, but as usual it is your responsibility if you decide to implement this mod.
