I needed a tray to keep my stuff organized on my desk. Here is what I came up with. It has separated inlays for easy dual color printing!

The legs are friction fitted but depending on the tolerances of your printer you might want to drop a bit of glue to keep it in place!

Printing instructions:

For the main body, I used the regular 0.2 details settings in Prusaslicer. It is pretty long, so you might want to use a brim! Mine did warp a tiny bit!

There are separate inserts so that it's easy to do dual color! Just print the inserts in whatever accent color you want!

Some other things you can do to make the inserts look more interesting is trying either different top and bottom infill patterns or the infill itself:

Top and bottom infill pattern:

Under Print Settings → Infill you can change the Top fill pattern and Bottom fill pattern:

This will give you some interesting designs, my favorite is the Hilbert Curve:

You can also go to Print Settings → Advanced and play around with the first layer width to change the look of the pattern. This is 0.8:

Infill patterns:

Another way that you can achieve a different look is by changing the infill pattern while removing the top and bottom layer all together!

Set the Perimeters to 1, and your Top and Bottom Solid layers to 0:

Then you can play around with different infill patterns and percentages. Here is honeycomb at 25%:

Thanks and happy printing!
