UPDATE: 9/4/23

PLEASE READ BEFORE PRINTING

I have confirmed the design and it functions perfectly as expected.

Verified files:  Anycubic M5S-Plug V3;  Anycubic M5S-STD V3; Anycubic M5S OEM V3              The XTR file is still pending since I do not have the Wham Bam XTR plate yet to verify.

Printing verified with the Anycubic RERF and test prints included on the M5s USB.  No issues and all prints succeeded perfectly.

Things you need to know / do:  When slicing the intermediate part, you may see micro stepping on the top curved surface. This does not affect performance, but your post processing should include a light 220 grit sanding to break edges and correct any filament printing issues. Do not try to sand the surface completely smooth - that will remove material and affect Z-home. Use caution sanding, that curved surface must remain parallel to the flat base portion of the intermediate component. Affecting the parallel will cause variance in the front to back of the build plate in respect to the print glass screen. The bottom of the intermediate part must be flat. I printed it on the my Vyper with the bottom contacting the build plate to ensure part flatness.

Check or adjust your build plate parallel to the print screen. My M5s was received from Anycubic with a severe out of parallel issue. The left edge of the build plate was .48mm higher than the right edge. This will grossly affect printing capability. I loosened the (8) mounting screws of the print head to the Z blocks and corrected the parallelism to be within .01mm from outer left edge to outer right edge.

Remember - you must replace the OEM screws with new shorter screws. See the attached photo with requirement details.

Prior:

The new Anycubic M5s has an auto-leveling feature that is based on the OEM build plate dimensions. Adding a flexible build plate system increases this total height distance and can impact the auto-leveling system. Instead of modifying the homing system or adding an extender to the limit switch flag system, you can simply replace the build plate assembly intermediate post with one of these and keep the same total build plate height, and not need to modify your new printer and possibly void its warranty.  This intermediate replacement part was dimensional designed with the help of Wham Bam Systems to ensure the new part calculates for the thickness of their XTR and Standard FBS magnetic plate and steel flex plate. See the attached photo for details between the options. Note that you must replace the 2 machine screws in the build plate when using this intermediate modification. Since the Wham Bam FBS has not arrived yet, this mod has not been print verified as of 8/18/23. It is dimensional correct, but after I receive the new FBS from Wham Bam, I will do a leveling and print analysis and update these files if necessary. The plug is to fill the hole in the build plate which is not necessary. The top curve may appear micro-stepped in your slicer and print. This does not impact fitment or usage. I recommend using as printed and not sanding as this will affect the curvature and total height of the intermediate unit.
If you have any issues or suggestions, please let me know.  Modeling preformed in Fusion 360 and sliced in Cura 5.4. These were printed on an Anycubic Vyper printer and fitment verified.
