Them pesky thieves! This won't stop the dedicated thief but it at least causes some hassle and perhaps repel lazy ones.

PDFPsst… Don't tell the thieves - you can pull them out with a wood screw. 🤫
Update: I notice that these things can be pretty annoying to remove even when equipped with a wood screw.
