Most chute designs around are too thick, and the printer must be placed a fair distance away from the wall for clearance. The slim chute by AdrianGarside worked really well, and I created the rest of the models based on his design.

I re-sketched the chute in Onshape and made the angle steeper to align with the IKEA BROR shelving that I'm using. The chute has been extended past the printer so it fits flush with the edge of the frame. There is also an additional 2mm thickness added to account for the difference in depth where the printer sits and the frame is.

The chute is mounted to the mount using adhesives, which can then be attached to the printer using magnets. These gives some leeway for positioning the printer on the shelves.

As I place my setup at the corner of the room, I need a way to empty the bin and place it back in alignment with the chute without looking. The basket mount is attached via screws to the existing holes on the frame, and has magnets so the basket aligns itself with the chute.

Overall I haven't had an issue with reliability in the 3 weeks I've been using it.
