I have been running Victron Venus OS on a raspberry pi to manage my Inverter, Solar, Batteries, etc in my Fifth Wheel RV. I decided that I needed to create my own case as I added a 6 port relay which integrates into the Venus OS and allows control of up to 6 different devices directly from within the Venus OS.
The case is a 2 part snap fit case that mounts the official Raspberry Pi display, Pi4 and a 6 relay board along with a 12V to 5V buck converter to power the Pi, display and relays. I have also added a play for a 20mm fan to help keep everything cool inside.
This can be used without the relay board or that could be added later. To keep the front of the case smooth I used ironing in prusa slicer and left the holes for the relay screws covered over, they can be drilled out, holes aready exist but are covered over for the last few layers, so drilling is easy if yout need them and drilling them leaves a nice smooth surface for the front. The bottom vent holes also double as the relay wire entrance. In the photos I have not yet added the wiring to the things I want to control with the relays, the First will be a fan for the front bay which will turn on based on temp from venus OS sensor to cool the front bay if it gets warm.
This was printed without supports and at a 0.20 layer height.
Added Fusion360 file for those wanting to modify it.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
