A further refined version of the Gridfinity Refined standard by grizzie17.
It comes with 4 methods of fastening to baseplates:
The nuts are slightly lower than the magnets at 1.8mm so the slot is that much tighter and requires more force to insert the magnet than Refined. Also the slot for the nut is 5.85mm wide reducing magnet diameter to 5mm from the standard 6mm.
The design also fixes the biggest problem with Gridfinity Refined, which is that if the storage block is bigger than 1x1 some of the holes for inserting the magnets are obstucted by the neighbouring tiles of the bin base:
It does so through moving all of them to the bottom surface of the block and the smaller holes are now going outward, which makes them easily accesible:
As you can see the role of the holes have been swapped so that you don't have to fiddle with your magnets or nuts in the gap between the Gridfinity blocks. As the outer holes are now for their removal they were moved to the corners since the distance between opposing corners is much higher than opposing edges and allows insertion of the removal tool as shown.
The other issue with Refined was lack of backwards-compatibility with older baseplates (other than magnets), hence the options for screws and M3 bolts. This allows full compatibility with all baseplates.
The Re-Refined baseplate provides full compatibility with all bins.
Further extensions to the standard also coming up!
Some basic bins are included, however any custom block can be updated by simply downloading a bin base from the BinBases folder and using simple boolean operations to put it on the block.
The Refined plate connector and thumbscrew are available here.
The author remixed this model.
Improves the insertion and removal of magnets. The bins' magnet holes also accept nuts. The bins can also be attached with screws if preffered. The baseplate has extra holes that allow the use of arementioned bolts and screws.
