Monopod Tripod Conversion

This is designed to add a tripod base to a Dynex DX-SW040 Monopod. This design may work with other monopods, but I only own the one monopod so This unit is designed for the Dynex.

The slots for the legs are for 1/2 inches (12.5mm) dowels with a hole to add a screw to lock the dowel in place. I used a 10" Long Dowel (25 cm)

After printing and support removal a 1/2 Inch drill bit was used to clean up the holes so the dowel will fit.

The Monopod is then Attached with zip ties

I printed the original using a 0.6mm Nozzle, but a .04mm Nozzle would work just as well.

I suggest using 4 perimeters to increase strength as this part supports a very top heavy load.
