I wasn't happy with any commercially-available options for this and the 3D-printable solutions I found online were iffy, so I made this design! This model is intended to be secured using 4 or 8 M5 heatset inserts, and 12mm-long bolts should sit pretty flush out the back of part (longer bolts should be fine though if there's room behind the mounting plate).

This part works with the CF591 model Samsung curved monitor only, or any other monitor that uses this strange mounting hook I don't know about.

I highly recommend printing with a material you know has excellent layer adhesion. I'm using PETG for this application, but PLA could work if it is quality.

If there is interest in this part, I would be more than happy to make additional variants as needed such as using hex nuts instead of heat set inserts!

Print instructions

Print either upright or laying down, I'm not sure which is necessarily stronger for this application. I printed upright to put the "hook" part under compression instead of shear, but as a result I'm relying on good layer adhesion to keep most of the mount together. To aid in this, I'll be using all 8 VESA mount holes to secure this part to the plate on my monitor arm.
