The Camera Frame

Designed to protect an O3 camera in smaller designs like cinewhoops or on FPV Planes! Perfect for the ultra tiny Pavo Pico, the NewBeeDrone AcroBee75, or your Diatone Ripper pan camera mount! 

Just like my O3 Mod design, but I designed this to bracket-around the camera to hold it in place. 

The design puts as much material in front of the lens as possible to protect the camera. But– because of my modeling of the camera's field-of-view,  nothing is visible in the camera's feed. Perfection.

Designed for good ND filters like from Freewell, etc, that are made for the O3/Avata. 

• No-ND Support Version
  • Offers the most protection!
• Best: Freewell filters [amazon]
  • Wide view, full FOV, no vignetting. 
  • Work in any FOV mode
  • Use my ND-freewell-wide version in downloads!
• Kinda Bad: GepRC filters. Clip-in vertically
  • Will have vignetting on the edges in wider modes. This is a flaw in the filter design.
  • Use my ND-tall version in downloads!
• Also Bad: Flywoo filters
  • clips on top only
  • Also has bad vignetting in the corners from the filter design.
  • Also use my ND-tall version in downloads!
• Bad: Universal Filter Version
  • Fits any ND filters.. 
  • Offers the least protection.

Print settings

• Best printed as oriented in the STL!
• Print with TPU filament, slowly
• Use tree support but standard works.
• Use 2 or 3 perimeter walls for most setups.
• Infill: Up to you. I use 40%. 100% is fine for this part.

Lots of uses: Quads, Fixed wings, RC car, etc

• Want more protection on a fixed wing O3 pan mount like mine (Ripper)? Perfect.
• Have an ultra micro custom 3" frame but still want lens protection like Will? Perfect.

Sharing & License & Stuff

The LAST thing I want to do is restrict anyone from sharing. But. PLEASE share links to this printables page, not the STLs. Here's why:

1. This is under active development. The STLs WILL CHANGE and get better.
2. The documentation is important, and I'm sure there's stuff I'll be adding as feedback comes in.
3. The community is important, I want people to reach out and join the discord not download some STLs and go it alone.
4. It's just a super dick move to repost designer's stuff. I've spent a long time making, testing, and documenting this and my only reward is that little stupid ‘like’ counter, download counter, and photos/stories from users. DON'T DEPRIVE ME OF MY ONE SENSE OF SELF WORTH
