Ruger LCRx Rail Attachment " The LCRR5" or "WE haveTRR8 @ Home"

I tougt the S&W TRR8 is pretty cool, i wish i could also mount a Light to my LCR…
So i did a little Measuring, Drawing and Testing and the first SllpOn Prototype was born.

Obviously slip on doesn't clamp enough with 357 Magnum recoil…not after the first shot.
With .22lr it'll last for 8 shots, until it has moved too close to the Muzzle.

Then after some Procrastination the Improved Version was born.
Which is a 3 Part design, that uses M3x12-16mm Screws and Nuts to Clamp the Barrel like a Sandwich.

Now the Community shall know of my Monstrosity. Tally Ho!

Live Fire test with ABS and PLA-CF didn't yield the succses i was hoping for.

Structural changes/Improvements need to be made in order to withstand the Recoil of .357Mag.
