The is a reversable ratcheting ¼" socket wrench. I modeled it off of an old rusty one I found at an estate sale.

This was printed using a resin printer using "ABS Like" resin. It might be possible to print this using FDM, especially if it is scaled larger.

I did use metal springs from a pen. I cut them to only have a couple coils and places them on the sides of the ratchet mechanism. This may require some tweaking to get it to ratchet correctly.

I designed this in Fusion360 and included the socket.f3d file. In the model, I have one feature in the timeline suppressed.  This is the feature that creates the knurling. It causes very slow redraw, so I suppress it while working on the drawing, then unsuppressed it when I want to export the mesh.

The model is broken into separate STL/STEP files under the Parts directory. The socket.stl and socket.step files contain all objects and will need to be separated in the slicer.

This is NOT a “build in place”!
