Low-poly rhino wall/desk art 3D effect

Printer settings:

To get the effect in the picture, set the printer to pause 1 or 2 layers before the print is finished and change the filament to a brightly colored one, if the filament color is on the lighter side, print 2 or more layers of the color to stop the black from showing thru.

Layerhight:

If you want a figure with a smooth look, use a layer height of 0.12mm or lower, if you want a more rustic and printed look use cores layers. I personally use 0,3-0,4 mm layer heights.

OBS! if you use 0,4mm layer height you need to use a 0,6mm nozzle.

Perimeters and Infill:

If you print with 3 or more perimeters, infill is not needed otherwise 5-10% is plenty.

Temp:

Depends on filament and brand, but 210 C for normal PLA.
