Saw the original, liked it and printed it for my son cos this is right up his street.

The thinner “front” edge on the big hole started peeling a bit off bed though, so it got a bit messy and needed some sanding and tidying to get rid of sharp edges.

I decided before printing another I'd rebuild the bottom part to give it more material on the bed in order to help with bed adhesion … in the process I also reduced how rounded the edge where you put your finger is to helped produce a cleaner print (angled layer lines are sharper than flat ones when spinning round your digits, so made the mid-section flatter and just rounded the very edge instead of being completely round from top to bottom)

Printed fine for me with similar settings as suggested in the original (PETG) … broke free etc as it should.

Do give Kudos to LinkDesigns on his model if you print this in place of his - I just tweaked for my son so figured I'd share in case anyone else had similar issues.

Feel free to donate via Paypal if you appreciate this and would like to help me make more by keeping me in filament
