This is a visual aid for people having trouble perceiving time.
Mainly for children with autism or other disorders that affect that area.
It is used by peers who help the children to understand how much time is left for a task, or to something that they are waiting for.

Basically a simple countdown bar, but fully manual, so you can control time. It is useful for example when waiting in a queue, or at the doctor. When the parent for example has some idea about the remaining time but it's not exactly 2 or 3 minutes.

Then you can grab this from your pocket and show to the child that he/she have to wait a little more. When the red bar disappears we are good to go.

Don't know if it makes any sense. But I was able to use it with my daughter. I would be interested if anyone else find this useful.

Designed with my buddy Ian Blinkhorn. @irblinx on twitter.

Print instructions

Pretty straightforward. You may want to use a few drops of superglue at the end.

The ratchet can be inserted in both ways. But it will be easy to turn only in one orientation so you will figure it out.

Cogwheel needs color change at certain level. 3mf file included.
