I needed another Tablet Stand. Sure, I have a pretty nice Lamicall Tablet Stand I bought from Amazon, but I needed another one. *mumbles* I should have just bought one, they're only $15 bucks… *mumbles* But where would be the fun in that! Oh boy, lets fire up Blender again!

***Five and a half hours later***

Whew, that was fun. I didn't want to outright copy the Lamicall tablet stand, but at the same time this design is exactly what I wanted. Can I at least take inspiration from something and customize it? I used knobs and a core shaft for retention and to place tension on the rotating parts to make the holder adjustable and retain position under load. This is my first time modeling threads (granted, Machin3Tools did the hard part…), I think I got the tolerances right, but adjustment may be necessary. Depending on your tolerances, you may need to slice the knobs at 99% or 101% scale, depending on your machine.

Final Final Update (or is it?):
Made a wider Holder to fit the Steam Deck, and updated the Threaded Pin. For a tighter fit, print wall order Inner/Outer/Infill. For more accurate, and looser, fit, print wall order Outer/Inner/Infill. Applied some 2mm adhesive-back craft foam for feet and for grip on the holder. Works like a charm. Keep in mind, the retention studs on the wide Holder are only about 4mm high, so 2mm craft foam is almost level with the top of the studs. It'll still retain your Steam Deck just fine.

Final Update:
The [Threaded Pin] is a snug fit, you may need to print the pin -1% scale on X and Y only, depending on your machine.

Added another version of the pin without threads to eliminate the need for the knobs as an option for a flush fit.

I reworked the threads on the threaded pin and the knob, prints were successful, threaded parts are printing perfectly on my X1C. Print the knobs with +/- 1% scale to X and Y only to make the thread fit tighter or looser, depending on your machine and preference.

Feedback from test subject recommended I modify the Holder section, so I made the retention nubs thinner and shorter on 02 v1.1. Test subject expressed satisfaction with the changes.

All models are in optimal print orientation. Two Knobs are needed. You will need minimal supports for 01 and 02. 4 walls at 0.2mm LH and 25% Cubic should be good, but your mileage may vary.
