Fidget Slider

The original is a great design, but i didn't want the inlet ridges on each side. the other remix had some funky shapes added, I used blender and created straight clean edges. I might experiment with more fidgets, but for now this is good to go. Thanks creator!

You need 2 of each top and body printed as well as 16 magnets of 6x2mm to 6x3 size for the “clean” version, and 6x2mm to 6x4mm (or 2 6x2) will fit in the “closer” version.

Length of fidget is approximately 2 inches.

2 models exist, the clean and closer ones. clean has 10 layers, and closer has 3 layers. if printed at a 0.1mm resolution. experimenting is needed, but each one uses just under 5g of filament. so go crazy and print a few variations.

I use 2 6x2mm magnets per slot, and get 6x4mm inside the “closer” one. it is almost a bit too strong, if you prefer a easier slide, i'd go with 6x3mm magnets in the “closer” model, or add uhmw tape for smoothness. it would probably be better if I added 1 more layer, I'll post an update if there is problems with the closer thinness. (i can sort of see the magnet circles on one of the models.)

p.s. I'd wager the other remix prints “fine” but my slicer had some weird slices going on. due to the small size, most of it was probably unnoticable.
