Translucent Vase mode printable tea light covers for LED tea lights.
The LED tea lights i used have a yellow light,
the prints are mostly blue,
that ends up in green
Saw some problems with vase mode printed models, brittle prints with bad layer adhesion and liked to figured out the magic behind that technic. I used a mk3s+ with 0.6 mm hardened steel nozzle for all this prints. Made the nice vase shaped model with freecad and started to print the model with different layer heights and extrusion wide. The pictures show how that effects the optical impact of the model.
Grab the filament you like to use, i recommend translucent PETG, start with a temperature tower to find the best temperature to archive the most shine and translucent effect.
