An adapter for a hall-sensor angle measurement for the MMU2S idler stepper motor.
This way you can see the real position of the idler, whether the ball bearing actually presses and energizes the filament or whether the idler is in the rest position. This AS5600 Hall Sensor is a widely available ready-to-use small PC board mounted.
I am using the 0-3.3 VDC analog output to measure the 0-360 degree angle.
I used it for the electric auto rewind spool system for the MMU2S.
This hall sensor (AS5600 Magnetic Encoder Magnetic Induction Angle Measurement Sensor Module 12bit High Precision) is widely available ready mounted on small PC board. If you want to activate the analog output (0-3.3VDC), you have to remove resistor R4. Please note that you have a diametrically magnetized disc magnet, I had received an axial disc magnet, so it does not work on the back of a metal shaft.
