Some child was rough with a baby gate and broke the hinge. Duct tape and steel wire didn't help, but a 3D printer did! This keeps a big expensive thing out of the landfill.

I'd be comfortable using it with my kids. That said, consider it “as-is”, without warranty, may not be fit for purpose, etc. I have no idea how much weight it will support, so please don't use it somewhere safety-critical like around stairs.

I printed it in PLA. It was pretty snug because the layer just above the square hole sags slightly as it bridges, but I don't worry about the gate falling out of it.
