Sovol cardboard spool adapter for Bambu Labs AMS

Not using this for AMS, but it works well to protect the inside for a normal spool holder.

Sovol spool is so large that it does not fit into AMS with this and some other rings. Try duct tape instead.

This doesn't fit in the X1C AMS. Not a fault of the print, the spool is SLIGHTLY larger, so the whole thing doesn't fit with the lid closed.

Do I need to change a setting for this?

Mine is totally flat with no lip for the inner ring?

Excellent design. Works very well.

My spools came so badly damaged that I had to use some blue painter's tape to ensure the rings stay on. (This wouldn't be necessary normally, IMO). Cuts down significantly on carboard dust inside my dryer and stops the extruder gears from having to work too hard (a torn of frayed spool can really do some damage).

I wish they'd stop making these spools out of cardboard.

I found that the outer ring fit perfect, but the inner ring was much too large. Sovol likely changed their spool manufacturer since this model was published. But even so, a little snip with the cutters and it's good to go!

Doesn't fit in ams after adding to the spool, doesn't work
