If you make this model and like it, please post your make and rate the model, that would make my day!
I'm currently building a Lack enclosure and realised that any time I want to pull the printer out of the enclosure, for maintenance or whatever, I will have to disconnect all the cables from the externally mounted PSU. Which would be very annoying!
So I cut the 2 power cables and added XT60 connectors, and cut the power panic cable and added a JST connector. With this upgrade it meant that the standard power cable pass-through models for the project wouldn't be large enough for the XT60 connectors. And I wanted to keep the hole as small as possible so I designed this.
It's a snug fit but it does fit. If your prints run small or something maybe scale it up by 3.5%.
I used a 20mm spade drill bit on the table (if you had a 20mm standard bit that would be much better I imagine), and I masked both sides of the table with painters tape to prevent chipping.
This was my first time designing anything with a thread and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
