Alberta 3D Bookmark. I made this for something to show people how 3D printing can build things, already assembled. Most people are surprised by the lack of assembly. I figured a simple chain was the best way to show that.
Give one of these to anyone, who hasn't seen 3D printing or doesn't understand how it works. And you'll get them interested too! I love a good conversation starter when it comes to 3D printing and this one, is a simple, useful gift they can keep.
Feel free to REBRAND the Alberta section as your own. Just drop it into tinker cad and you can PERSONALIZE it. For your coworker or your brand or company logo.
It just fits on a 100mm x 100mm printer. I've added the little brim there to help the links stick, you may need a little extra line width in the initial layer if it gives to issues.
I recommend 0.15mm layers or finer, to get the links to look good. And 0.2mm or less initial layer so you get 3+ layers on the thin part.
Don't forget to upload your makes for Prusameters!
