These are only the bobbin ends. You need to print 1x eew_mini2_bobbin_tube from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3262290 and either 2x of the "gf" (requires glue) or "pf" press fit disks per bobbin.

I had someone respond with concerns about balance. Because of that, there's a v2 with more rings on the "thin" side and no rings on the "thick" side of the tree branches. Choose what you like.

I'm not too worried about the balance of the first iteration because of the added rings, and because I took a coaster and tried it, unaltered but for a drilled hole, as a drop spindle whorl and it spins just fine. Also, the nano is a low-speed travel e-spinner with very small bobbins, so the balance isn't as big a concern as it would be on a larger, faster spinner.

NOTE: The "flat" end is an experimental disk that makes a bit more space on the bobbin at the orifice end. It comes out the same overall length as the usual bobbin To use it, print one flat and one of either version of the disk with the pulley for the brake band. It works ok on mine, but YMMV. Print one to try, and if it works for you, great, if not, don't worry about it.

Like the original, each version of the bobbin disk has a tight and loose option. If you have a well calibrated printer the tight one should make a snap together bobbin. If that doesn't fit well then you can use the loose option and glue the pieces together.

Print flat side down with a narrow brim and supports for the best finish and least post processing. I have cura set to use ironing on the top surfaces as well, but that is optional.

How I Designed This

A request for more freely available printable designs for the nano was made in the facebook EEW group by a member in AUS, so I made some more bobbin designs based on my existing remixes of Mribble's designs and some remixable, fun decorative items found on thingiverse.

These discs have the addition of a set of rings added inside the design to improve balance because of the unbalanced nature of the source file.
