Description

PDF
  1. Medium-sized lightweight bookend inspired by xyzaxis's Lightweight Bookend (Thingiverse).
  2. Larger version with a couple cross-supports in weak areas.

Simple, low-filament usage.

The lower end of the vertical portion is not attached to the bottom, which removes a strain point where it would otherwise fail under heavier load.

Prints with a small disc at the skinny end to decrease the chance of it peeling off the bed; clip it off after printing. Also consider printing with a brim.

Print Settings

  • Line width: 0.4-0.45mm
  • Layer height: 0.28mm
  • 3 walls
  • 0% infill (strength is in the walls)
  • Scale depth (z-axis in print orientation) to achieve desired thickness
