iPhone 15 usb-c - retire the lightning!

The lightning plug was invented in 2012, the same year the usb-c was released (usb-c was public that is was being released, most major manufacturers had come together to design it).

In 2015 Apple includes USBC into their first device.

For the next 8 years Apple confuses their customers by being half usb-c and half lightning.  Like having the body of a Porche and the engine from a geo metro.  Anyone with multiple apple devices was forced to carry usb-a, usb-c, lightning, and a couple different kinds of bricks.

Finally Apple allows their phone users into the modern era with the universal standard, that happens to be 100x better, with usb-c officially coming to the iphone 15.

Funny enough, the usb c is one of the biggest selling points on the iphone 15.

Print this tombstone so you can mock your friends, family, and co-workers, who will still make arguments as to why they prefer lightning.  Once they get a taste of the good good they'll forget they ever paid for overpriced, 3 foot long, flimsy, jamming, dusty, lightning cables.
