This print allows you to convert a Vello TSR-40 or similar cable (the ones with the finger grip \"ears\") into a Mamiya Press cable that will work with the Model 3 roll film back, and the hand grip with removable cable release socket.

IMPORTANT: The stem is may need to be elongated as there is variation in the lengths of cable release trigger pins across multiple brands. If you do this, cut down the stem so that the trigger pin sticks out long enough to fire the Mamiya Press lenses. They are notorious for needing a longer traveling trigger pin. These files have been adjusted for the Vello TSR-40 specifically.

TO INSTALL: Make sure your print goes in snug. It needs to be press fit. DO NOT USE GLUE because these things can snap easily so you'll have to fish out the broken stems.

If it seems rough to slide into the film back or grip socket, it's not the width as though it may feel like that's what it is. It's probably the tip that needs to be rounded or smoothed as required.

Print instructions

Use your trusted settings and material for small flimsy parts. Be careful when you remove it from the print bed, print multiples like a set of 4-6 in one job just in case. I've had varying results printing in either orientation up/down, so that is up to you as well. This works for better part cooling as well.

Honestly probably better suited for other manufacturing methods, but I printed it in carbon fiber polycarbonate, and should work with NylonX.
