Modular fridge egg tray

I was tired of my egg holder not exploiting the full length of the fridge's door tray, so I (well, mostly chatGPT) made this. It is extremely easy to customize: just modify the “rows” and “eggs_per_row” variables to fit your needs.

The openscad model can take some time to compile (30s-1min) if round_corners is set to true. You should set round_corners=true once you are finished editing the other parameters, to prevent the sides of the model from being too thin, as pointed out by @swen_blueneon_997489.

The STL of an 8 eggs model is included as an example.

After testing I noticed that the spacing between the eggs holes was too short. I modified the model and re-uploaded a fixed version. Also took into account the minkowski sphere in the dimensions (thanks to @BikeCyclist for noticing that)!
