Using various different sizes (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) and types (brass, hardened steel; normal, CHT) of nozzles on my BambuLab X1C every now and then I wonder which hot end combination is currently assembled to the printer. Unfortunately this can not easily be seen in the assembled condition and furthermore a durable marking on the silicon sock is not possible. I therefore designed thin slip over identifiers for the silicon socks indicating the nozzle size with a number (2, 4, 6, 8) as well as with little dots on the opposite side.

Easily attachable and detachable, sticks well to the silicon sock during printing and has no impact on the cooling.

There are 2 sets of identifiers, one for the original silicon socks with BambuLab logo and one for those thinner third party silicon socks from Aliexpress.

Print is in TPU on a PEI plate and by object with 2 walls at a layer height of 0.2mm.
Using different high visability colours may help even better differentiating between various hot ends.

Hope this can be of use to others. Enjoy !
