Nextruder Nozzle Organizer for Original Prusa Enclosure

With the ability to quickly change nozzle assemblies on the MK4, it make sense to have nozzles dedicated to different filament types and temperature ranges.  This rack holds seven Nextruder assemblies, and accommodates heater blocks with silicone socks and nozzle adapters.  This model is designed for the Original Prusa Enclosure; if you are looking for a nozzle rack to attach to the Prusa Core One, please see my other model.

Each of the seven holders has a slot for inserting various identification plates.  A variety of identification plates have been included as a starting point, along with a couple blank plates (half height and full height) that can be used to add your own text in the slicer.

The rack includes a couple storage bins on top for holding miscellaneous tools and supplies and mounts to the Original Prusa Enclosure with two or three screws using thermal press-fit threaded inserts rather than nuts.  The rack is secure with just the top two screws; the lower screw (that attaches to the front vertical rail of the enclosure) is optional.

2024-10-06 Update: Per request, added three plates for 0.25mm (Diamond, Brass, and Steel), and two plates for the new Brass CHT nozzles (0.4mm and 0.6mm).

Miscellaneous Notes/Comments:

• The plates can be printed with either 0.2 mm or 0.15 mm layer height; I tried both, but since there are not many layers, there is no time benefit using 0.2 mm, so I used 0.15 mm.  Use a 0.4 mm nozzle due to the small text lines.
• Orient the rack on the build bed with the heater block slots down (on the bed) and the storage bins on top.  Print with 0.2 mm layer height using a 0.4 mm nozzle; no supports are required.
• Mirror the rack in your slicer if you want to mount it on the right side of the enclosure or to make a second rack for more than seven nozzle assemblies.
• If you would like to design your own plates the dimensions are 25mm W x 13mm H x 1mm D for the half height, and 25mm W x 26mm H x 1mm D for the full height.
