I printed the ARC enclosure and found the filament guide was getting caught and causing the extruder to work extra hard. It also was making an annoying clicking noise every few seconds as the angle of the bend needed caused the filament to get stuck. It was also quickly wearing the material away where the filament was rubbing on as seen in one of the pictures. I remixed the original filament guide and added a bit of a twist. I made it so that the material is fed through a 608 bearing that way it reduced the drag and strain on the extruder. It turned out great and the prints I have been running off seem to be coming out better and the annoying clicking has disappeared.
A threaded 3 mm brass insert and an M3 x 6 mm screw are needed (should have some leftovers from building the ARC). This threaded insert should be inserted while the bearing has been put in place already to help force the plastic tighter on the bearing. I also printed a TPU roller to go over the bearing just because I thought it looked nicer.
If you decide to print it please publish a make and give me some additional feedback. Overall I am happy with how this turned out.
