Mount a Raspberry Pi in Sneaks' awesome deep snap-together case on a Prusa MK4 with it offset to the outside with provision for cable management.
Note: the actual thing in the photos is black and kinda blends into the Prusa frame. Sorry about that.
The Sneaks snap-together Raspberry Pi case is by far my favorite, not just cuz he's a great guy, but it's the best Pi case I've used, especially with the provisions to mount it to the side of Prusa printers.
I got a MK4 and wanted to use the case but discovered that it would work a little better if I shifted the Pi outboard, so modified the original “__ss_rail_1_04-MK3S_DEEP.STL” to shift where it held the RasPi. While I was at it, I added a post which I used to hold the cables coming from the RasPi with a loop of velcro. Posting bt request of @meathead so other Prusa MK4 users can do the same.
Note that this requires the use of the “deep” cases. I used the following files from Sneaks' Pi case:
Get those files (or whatever fits your use case) from the original - this is just the offset rail to mount that on the MK4.
Print it pretty much however you want, following Sneaks' original instructions would be a safe bet. Supports are not needed since the cable post should bridge just fine.
The author remixed this model.
