I wanted to improve on the capacity, jamming issues, and printability of the Stackable Battery Holders by adoniram, and this is what I came up with. This model is stackable, prints in 2 pieces, and holds 24x AA batteries. It also has internal ramps that keep the batteries feeding nicely, instead of fighting to get into the chute. I hope you enjoy it!
I made this as 2 pieces, for easy printing. I've considered making it 3 pieces, that way you would have to glue on both sides. That would allow it to look symmetrical (same seam on both sides), as well as print the sides in different colors. What do you think?
