I had to make quite a few of these spiders for my kid's birthday party.
While I really like the original design, it is not easy to print in numbers because some of its delicately small features have no or very small bed footprint which gives a lot of room for chance of misprint.
This is why I decided to enhance the original model with a few print support structures.
As you can see in the pictures it is very easy to print the spider in lots without any of them becoming a problem.
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.1mm
Infill: 18%
Notes:
0.1mm or less is strongly recommended because this is a pretty small object.
Removing supports and bending the spider legs
The supports are pretty easy to remove.
I recommend a small and very sharp cutting tool for the mandible supports.
I got very good results by dipping the spiders into hot water and then bending their legs as seen fit.
