Utilizing the groundwork laid by RedCowl and is V2 Barrel Collet front end and the o-ring collet system that SillyButts designed, I created this: a stylized front end for the X-Shot Longshot (or Lonxshot, Longxshot, etc.) that allows the swapping of barrels and gives you a nice extended shroud that is flush to the blaster. Please note that the stock barrel does not work in this system, and a longer 40cm or 45cm barrel is recommended.
Why is it so long, you may ask? I made it this long so you can use more traditional pump grips on the Lonxshot without having them stick out past the end of the blaster. This is mostly an aesthetics thing, as the shroud has no real benefit to performance. To me, it looks the best with Chance's Boom Grip, which can be found here.
You can use any of the threaded pieces I have included in the folder, which are directly pulled from SillyButts' GitHub, for the muzzle nut/collet piece. You will also need an 016 o-ring. For more info on how this system works, check out SillyButts' GitHub.
Remove your supports, then glue the Sleeve onto the Front End so that the front edges of the parts are flush with each other. I recommend using super glue and a few clamps to keep them together. Let the glue dry, then remove the 2 screws and pins on your Lonxshot holding the stock front end on, take out the stock front end and barrel, slide your new HELIX front end in its place, and replace the 2 pins. Screw it all back together, then take your new longer barrel, slide on your 016 o-ring, slide it into the blaster, and slide the muzzle nut onto the barrel, screwing it into the front end. All done!
Print both pieces with the part that goes into the blaster facing down towards the build plate. It requires a decent amount of supports, but will give you the best surface quality for the visible parts.
You CAN print it flipped 180 degrees, but DO NOT print the parts with the barrel axis horizontal, or the part might not work.
