I wanted to bet able to take my Corne from one location to the next without it getting damaged in the process.

This is only designed for use with the V2 Corne using the Nice!Nano controller with a Nice!View display (as pictured) and the 301230 battery. I have included a STEP file so that people can tailor the model to their needs or make a better design to share with others.

I kept the original FR4 top plate but have otherwise designed a complete case that protects all of the electronics when in use.

I’ve also made some travel cases, one for each half as this offers more flexibility for finding spots in a backpack than a single larger case would allow.

In order to build this you will need the following from the keyboard chasis:

  • A wireless Corne
  • 10 M3x6 Screws
  • 8 M3x12 Scews
  • 8 10x2mm silicone feet

To build the travel cases you will need:

  • 4 M2x30 screws
  • 4 8x4mm round neodymium magnets. It might be a goood idea to swap one or both of these for thinner magnets & make a little spacer that sits under the magnets. I’ve found that the 4mm magnets are a bit stronger than I’d like.
