Stained Glass Flower Sun Catcher

I have a few spools of Ziro Translucent PLA and have ben kicking around the idea of using it to create stained glass sun catchers.

I mocked this up in Fusion360 creating components for the different colors and areas, as well as the outlines to print in silver silk PLA to give the look of lead/pewter borders.

There is a filleted hole for hanging on a suction cup hook, you can use these from Amazon

This print is about 150mm round and 3mm thick. Depending on the translucent PLA you use, you could scale the Z-Axis up or down to let more light through.

I printed this on .2 standard settings, no brim, 100% infill. In future prints I may play around with the flushing volumes to have some bleed to give more texture and realism in the ‘glass’.
