Description

PDF

This is part of a collection of wall faceplates and frames. The design is intended to be mutually compatible (but not identical) with ABB Tango.

Use along with faceplate frames.

OpenSCAD sources are available in the GitHub project.

Bill of Materials

  • Spring Audio Terminals - this thing is specifically designed for this product, may not work with any other.
  • Splice Clamps - optional, it's up to you how you hook up the cables behind the panel. These don't fit perfectly, so a bit of pressure is needed.
  • M3x3x4mm Brass Inserts. Use a soldering iron to insert them into the plastic.
  • M3 6mm bolts.
  • 2.5mm screws for attaching to the wall

    ### Round design

The round design is harder to print, but the final look is a little more appealing than the flat one.

  • Print the design upright. Enable supports and bridging. I suggest using Slic3r PE, because Cura, for instance, really sucks at this.

  • Use an adaptive layer height of 0.2-0.05mm.
  • Infill should be at least 25%, lest the top surface's quality may suffer.
