Print the shell in any orientation you like. I've had no issues with bridging in the orientation as saved in the STL.

After printing, fill the slider with bits so you have some mass to sling around, and fidget for a few minutes to break the thing in. If it won't loosen, sand down the side of the slider, or scale up the shell.

Epoxy a non-stainless M3 nut and a 5 mm cubic neodymium magnet into their respective locations.
