This model extends the injection molded part that comes with the Prusa Mk3 family of printers so that it can hold 2kg spools and remain compatible with the Prusa Enclosure.
I recommend printing this vertically (as oriented in the file) since it doesn't need supports in this orientation.
It should be fine to print without a brim, but if you want to be safe you could add one.
Infill percentage and style don't matter because there is very little of it.
A smaller layer height might yield crisper details, but I had minimal sagging of overhangs and a nice fit at 0.3mm layer height with no supports.
PLA and any other material with some rigidity and strength should be sufficient. I used Prusament Recycled PLA and had great results. It is plenty strong.
I remixed @MartinL_254131's model because it was not structurally sound and crumpled in my hand when I printed it, but I really liked the design. I also wanted a more secure interface between the parts than press fit. I utilized the locking mechanism on the injected molded part that comes with the enclosure and put it inside of MartinL's design. I also thickened the outer wall and removed the exterior pattern which is what made the print weak in my experience. I like that it can be easily removed to not take up extra space if you typically print with the 1kg spools. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
