A Parametric barrier and bug trap - works on all kinds of crawling bugs including bedbugs and silverfish
CURRENTLY stl are for 2" tape
My building has had bug problems on and off and the best way to not become a statistic was to put Down indicators or traps
So i designed a semi permanent one that works both as a barrier and a trap
as a barrier - you put a strip of these along the baseboards at a height just above the electrical outlets (but lower than your bed or furniture' contact points)
print them out and add super sticky double-sided sticktape to the side with the grooves ( if you are worried about the wall paint put a layer of painters tape the same width down first and stick the double side tape to that . the raw stick should be exposed between the groves and the bugs will try to go into the dark place and crawl up and get stuck there. - the smaller bits are for filling in gaps ( say if you want one along the doorway to find out where they come from . or as general indicators as the bugs will naturally be drawn to crawel into the small gaps to hide)
check periodically to make sure the tape has not dried out and or become overloaded with bugs.. if so peel off the tape and put a fresh piece on as required.
print as is. for 2 inch tape - smoother the better ( smallest layer heights or with resin as smoothness prevents bugs from getting a foothold and would desire to go into the trap instead of over it)
specifically on the top section
i did mine on .12 layer heights withthe smooth side down on glass.
