Replacement for a friend's cast iron floor drain which was quite icky from 30+ years of rust and crud. Didn't see any models for this size/shape drain, so I made this one. Hope it helps somebody out!
Overall it is 5.75" diameter with a 1" chord cut out. A 2" center plug can be screwed in and out to allow easy access for inserting a hose or similar.
Was a snug fit after all the buildup and rust was cleaned out of the floor receptacle. As it was a snug fit, we did not model the retaining tab from the original cast iron.
I printed the one shown:
I plan to eventually reprint in ABS for better long term durability.
My printer passes most tolerance tests at around .1 to .15mm. If yours does not print this tight, you might need to shrink the plug slightly so it screws in and out easily.
