Sodastream dry ice refill funnel

I had problems with regular shaped funnels so I designed this one that won't reduce the the size of the opening much and won't fall off.

Don't pay for a new CO2 canister, re-fill what you have with dry ice from a grocer or fish market. 

How much dry ice?

• 130L canister ~935 grams (up to 1000g OK)
• 60L canister ~450 grams (up to 500g OK)

Always buy more dry ice than you need since you'll lose at least  ⅓ of it to sublimation. So if you are filling a 130L canister, get at least 1.5kg. 

Other essential tools

• rubber mallet
• thick plastic bags
• sturdy plastic chopstick or similar dowel shaped tool to crunch the dry ice down the funnel.
